Get the big shapes right and everything will fall into place...
Big Shape, Little Shape
I have the massive privilege of having Jesse Smith teaching me how to draw. One of the principles he constantly reinforces is " Big Shape, Little Shape" which is all about making sure you get the larger shapes of a drawing (or anything really) correct before you start doing the medium shapes or any details.
Lately, I've started to view life as if it were a piece of art. You are the artist. It's up to you if your life will turn out to be a masterpiece or just a handful of sketches of dreams you had.
